Tidbits:
special edition! Search InfoSoup from the search tool in your Firefox brower! The search
tool resides in the upper right corner of your browser and, right now, probably
looks like this:
You can enter a search and go off to Google quickly and easily to find what you need. Now you can do the same, only instead of Google, try searching InfoSoup by installing the InfoSoup search tool! Once it is installed click on the down arrow next to the Google icon, and you'll see that InfoSoup has been added to your search tools.
Now you'll be able to select InfoSoup and enter a search to find materials. It's that easy! Learn how to install the InfoSoup search tool to get started.
Audiobook users are usually pretty particular about the format they want their audiobooks to be in. Older cars may only have a cassette player, while newer cars may only have CD players, and some want books to load on their mp3 players.
InfoSoup's Find Audiobooks search page makes it easy for folks to find exactly the format they're looking for. You can search for ALL formats, tape only, CD only, mp3 only, or Overdrive titles all from one spot.
Check out the other special search pages on the InfoSoup homepage under "I'm Looking For..." for additional quick search access to specific material types and formats.
Do you have favorite authors or subjects you like to keep up on? Save a search that zeroes in on your favorite thing, then ask InfoSoup to send you an email when an item is added to the catalog that fits in your saved search. Here's how:
That's it! In the example above, when a new item is added to the catalog with Peter Abrahams as the author, I will receive an email giving me information about the new title with a link to the catalog so I can place a hold if I so choose.
This is a great way to keep up on authors or subjects without having to do repeated work to find new items. Try it today and tell your patrons about it!
Farewell until next time from the library system where all the computers are fast, all the books are worth reading, and all the librarians are above average!
