TidbitsI don't use Excel that often, mainly because I live and breathe Dreamweaver, but when I came across this article I was actually inspired to use a spreadsheet! Now that's something. When exploring chunks of data in Excel, the brave-of-heart will likely turn to PivotTables. I'm not brave. In fact, in Excel, I might even be a coward or at least mildly angst-filled. So being able to explore data in a visual way with a simple formula was a breath of fresh air. Check this out:

In-cell bar charts look kinda cool, huh? And the way to create them is simple as pie. Read Juice Analytics' blog article to get the steps. If even I get ideas for how this can be used, I'm sure you will, too!
When scouting around the web for tips to include here, I came across 5 cool Windows XP tips on Microsoft's web site. You might want to check it out! The page includes stretching the taskbar to customize how you can use it, adding a special character, opening files with one click, changing your pointer scheme, and changing your power button's function. If you're a geek, you'll probably use all of these cool tips.
Snipshot is
a free online photo editor that is slicker than snot! (Excuse the expression...)
If you just need to do basic image editing this is the place to go, because you
can crop, rotate, resize, and do basic adjustments. Just open an image from a
URL or from your computer and edit away! If you're a Flickr user, you'll be happy
to hear that Snipshot works well with your images. This is a nice alternative
to paying big bucks for a different editor, especially if you just need to do
basic editing of your photos.
Farewell until next time from the library system where all the computers are fast, all the books are worth reading, and all the librarians are above average!
