Fox Valley Library Council (FVLC)
Where to find information about FVLC programs, services, membership, officers and committees, and documents. Don't miss the FVLC blog for news about Fox Valley libraries. FVLC members will find the online directory a huge help - remember to update your information to keep it current!

State

System and Resource Library Administrators' Association of Wisconsin (SRLAAW)
"SRLAAW is composed of administrators from all 17 Wisconsin public library systems and the library directors of the resource libraries from each system." Basic documents, including SRLAAW's minutes, directory, officers, and reports.

Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI)
Keep up on the state of the state! Here's a list of DPI Divisions and Teams, and you'll likely find the Directories useful, too.

Wisconsin Division for Libraries, Technology & Community Learning (DLTCL)
"We are here to serve the life-long learning and information needs of all Wisconsin citizens from preschoolers to senior citizens." Access to E-rate & LSTA information is included with other information of interest to Wisconsin librarians.

Wisconsin Public Library Development Team (PLD)
"Provides leadership, advocacy, assistance, planning, coordination, and funding for the improvement of public libraries and public library systems so that all Wisconsin residents have equitable access to information." Loads of information for Wisconsin's public libraries, including how to stay up-to-date by using email lists, electronic newsletters, etc.

Wisconsin InterLibrary Services (WILS)
A consortium of member Wisconsin libraries, that "offers services to libraries in areas of shared bibliographic information, resource sharing, inservice training, and other cooperative activities relating to the changing nature of information technology." Check the WILS Upcoming Events link for a listing of training & conference opportunities.

Wisconsin Library Association (WLA)
"WLA brings together and supports people from all types of libraries to advocate and work for the improvement and development of library and information services for all of Wisconsin." Information on how to get involved, along with a Blog to help you keep up-to-date on library issues in Wisconsin.

National

American Library Association (ALA)
"The Voice of America's Libraries. The American Library Association is the oldest and largest library association in the world, with more than 64,000 members. Its mission is to promote the highest quality library and information services and public access to information."

Library & Information Technology Association (LITA)
"LITA educates, serves, and reaches out to its members, other ALA members and divisions, and the entire library and information community through its publications, programs, and other activities designed to promote, develop, and aid in the implementation of library and information technology." Keep track of their Top Technology Trends reports and conference offerings.

Public Library Association (PLA)
A division of the American Library Association, PLA focuses on services and issues related to public libraries.
