Background

Outagamie Waupaca Library System provides 4-6 continuing education activities each year. We also offer computer lab classes, online classes, and training by request. These activities, which are free, are designed for the professional development of OWLS librarians and trustees, but the programs may be attended by any library personnel interested in the topics in most cases. Registration for the programs is required.

View our Continuing Education Policy [pdf]. For more information about the continuing education program, contact Bradley.

Certification

For information about or help with certification, visit the Certification L4L page or contact Bradley.

Scholarships

OWLS makes continuing education scholarships available to member library staff and trustees.

We also provide sponsorship of attendance at national conferences.

Training by Request

OWLS provides Training By Request for our member libraries. Let us know if you would like any of the classes available. We're also willing to create new classes should the need arise, so let us know what you're interested in!

Upcoming Workshops & Classes

Miss a program?

Never fear! We will post handouts, slides, and/or videos for past workshops whenever possible. Take a look and see what you missed! You can also view a list of all past programs.
