This is a supervisory management position responsible for overseeing consistent, high-quality customer service within a busy urban Library. As a result of an exciting library restructuring, this new position works closely with the Children’s Services Section and the newly created Community Partnerships Section to oversee in-house public services including materials checkout, reference services, public access internet, readers’ advisory and participates in the Digital Branch Development Team. This position supervises the Public Services Section, including three adult public service desks. The work involves supervising subordinate staff (comprised of an Assistant Supervisor, paraprofessional and clerical staff), planning and monitoring the work in their assigned service area. The incumbent works under the general supervision of the Assistant Library Director. Some evenings and weekends are required. Regular attendance is required. This position requires at least two years experience in professional library work with significant experience in public service, proficiency in current technologies and a master's degree in library science; or any equivalent combination of experience and training. Fluency in the Spanish or Hmong languages is a plus. The starting salary hiring range is $61,110-$73,320, plus an excellent fringe benefit package. The Kaukauna Public Library a part time job opening for an Electronic Resources Associate. Under general supervision, the Electronic Resources Associate performs library tasks related to automated services for print, multimedia, digital processes, information resources, our integrated library system (ILS) and public service work. This position requires scheduled evening and weekend hours. The Electronic Resources Associate is responsible for knowing and following library policy and maintaining public safety in the library. The Electronic Resources Associate is expected to foster and maintain cooperative and courteous working relationships with the public, peers and supervisors. The Electronic Resources Associate is expected to keep current with emerging resources and technology that are relevant to library users or that may be used in the library.

The New London Public Library, Wisconsin has a full time (37.5 hours) position for an energetic, creative, service-oriented librarian to head the Children's Department. Responsibilities include overseeing children's staff, selection of materials for children's department, and planning and implementing children's programming, birth to sixth grade. This includes story times, after school programs, summer reading activities, school tours and special events. Bachelor’s degree required, MLS preferred. Youth Services Librarian: Kimberly-Little Chute Public Library seeks a creative, service-oriented person with excellent communication skills to provide a broad range of public services to children and young adults.
