National Library Service (NLS) for the Blind and Physically Handicapped

| | Comments (0)

The Library of Congress recently updated the list of magazines available through the NLS free reading program. Available in six formats, these titles are accessible to anyone unable to read or handle conventional print materials due to visual or physical impairment. Of special note are two new formats, Web-Braille, accessible via the Internet or Braille output devices, and digital text, available via the Internet or on disc.

The Talking Books program offers a newly created web form that makes sign up easy, or contact the Wisconsin Regional Library for the Blind and Physically Handicapped, (800) 242-8822 directly to establish service for local users.
