Fremont Fundraiser
Susan O'Leary, Director of the public library in Fremont recently shared some information about their upcoming fundraiser for the library.
"Our fundraiser is Saturday, Nov. 17th from 9-3. It is held in the village hall and we call it Christmas Shop at the Library. We make beautiful gift baskets, ranging in price from $5-$50. They run the gamut from pet baskets, kid's baskets, teen baskets, reader's baskets, golfing, fishing, Packers, gardening, holiday and much more! We also have fabulous baked goods, food from all the area restaurants, bbq lunch, and business and craft vendors. We also have a silent auction starting Nov. 10th on items valued at more than $50. This year they include savings bonds from our banks, pontoon boat rentals, a health club membership, a Packer basket, a lighting basket, and a quilt basket, just to name a few."
Help out Susan and her library and support this fundraising effort. Sounds like a good time will be had by all!
I recently posted info about Seymour's wine tasting event (which is tomorrow). Does your library host fundraisers? What kinds of things do you do? How successful are they? Share details in the comments.
