2009
County Budgets County budget requests are based on the methodology contained in Section 43.12, Wisconsin Statutes and the methodologies contained in each County's Library Service Plan.
In accordance with the current county plan [pdf], all libraries will again be funded at the same percentage level of the funding formula in 2009. The OWLS Board submitted a 2009 budget request that would result in 80.0% funding for libraries. The request is for $1,189,967, and it requires a 4.62% increase in the budget over 2008. County Executive Paltzer has included full funding of the request in his Executive budget.
